This was painted using ink and acrylic sketches as a starting point. I did the sketches on large sheets of paper in late March this year on a rather windy and damp day in St Ives, Cornwall. Even so I remember being astonished by the amazing colours around me, especially where the light hit the water.
"Bamaluz Beach" was painted in oil on canvas, 24" x 30", when I was back home in my studio.
