DELIVERY AND TERMS OF SALE
The product page shows the artwork, available sizes and options, and its price in pounds sterling. Fine art prints are unframed unless a listing says otherwise. Prints are produced to order on 310gsm textured archival art paper with a white border and are normally dispatched within 4 working days of an order being placed. They are packed in a protective triangular tube. Delivery time after dispatch depends on the destination and carrier. Any delivery estimate shown at checkout is an estimate rather than a guaranteed arrival date. If a delay affects your order, please contact me.
Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. The current print rates are £5.50 within the UK, £10 to Europe and £15 to the rest of the world, plus 25p per print. Original paintings may have different delivery arrangements as shown on their listings. For international orders, the customer is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or carrier clearance charges that are not collected at checkout in the destination country.
I am not registered for VAT and do not charge UK VAT on my sales. Payment options and the final total are shown at checkout. After you order, the shop sends an order confirmation to the email address supplied. If I cannot fulfil an order, I will contact you and arrange a refund. Buying a painting or print does not transfer copyright or permission to reproduce its image. Screen settings can affect the way colours appear, but this does not affect your rights if an item is not as described.
RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS AND PROBLEMS
For ordinary online purchases, you may cancel without giving a reason by telling me within 14 days after you receive the goods. You then have a further 14 days to return them. Email me with your order number for return instructions. You do not need my approval to exercise your cancellation right. Please return items to the business address above and package them carefully. For a change-of-mind return, you pay the return postage. You may inspect goods as you would in a shop; a deduction may be made if handling beyond this reduces their value.
When you cancel within the applicable period, I will refund the item price and the standard outward delivery charge. The refund will normally be made to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that you sent them back, whichever is earlier.
If an item is damaged, faulty, incorrect or there is another problem with your order, email lesleywilliamsartist@gmail.com with your order number and a description of the issue. Photos of the item and packaging, where possible, can help me investigate but are not a condition of your legal rights. I will review the circumstances with you and arrange an appropriate solution, including any necessary return arrangements, in accordance with your statutory consumer rights. Nothing in these policies limits those rights.

PRIVACY NOTICE
Lesley Williams, trading as Lesley Williams Artist, is responsible for information collected through this shop. Contact me at the address or email above about your personal information.
When you make an enquiry or order, I use the details you provide, such as your name, contact information, delivery and billing addresses, message and order details, to respond, process and deliver your order, provide customer service and keep necessary business records. The lawful basis is normally the contract or steps you ask me to take before a contract. I keep financial records where required by law. I use legitimate interests to deal with general enquiries and resolve problems, balanced against your privacy rights.
If you choose to join the mailing list, I use your email address and any name you provide to send updates through Squarespace Email Campaigns. This relies on your consent. Buying something does not automatically subscribe you. You can unsubscribe using the link in an email or by contacting me. I may retain the minimum information needed to honour an opt-out.
The shop uses Squarespace to host the website, process shop activity and send email campaigns. Payment providers available at checkout process payments. For print orders, order and delivery information is shared with Prodigi and delivery providers so the print can be produced and delivered. Website analytics and cookie providers may process usage information according to the website's cookie settings. These providers may process data outside the UK; relevant transfer protections are set out in their own privacy information.
I keep order and accounting records for as long as needed for tax and legal obligations. For a self-employed business, HMRC normally requires records for at least five years after the 31 January tax-return deadline for the relevant tax year; a dispute or enquiry may require longer. I review general enquiry messages at least once a year and delete those no longer needed, normally within 12 months after the enquiry is resolved unless there is a continuing business or legal reason to keep them. Mailing-list details are kept while you remain subscribed, subject to the opt-out record described above.
You may ask to access or correct your personal information, and in applicable circumstances ask for erasure, restriction, portability or object to its use. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful use. Contact me using the details above. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

You can review those choices using the site's Cookie Preferences control. For details of cookies set by third-party services, see their privacy information.
